Alexis came to Crash Avenue in September of 2005. She's probably the only one around here that knows where all the CDs are or how to fix the email... basically how everything works around here. Alexis manages the specialty radio promotions and the recently added internet promotions arms of Crash Avenue. She's a recent Butler University graduate and former professional dancer.
Founded in 2004, Crash Avenue Publicity is a boutique music and lifestyle PR firm focusing on music and media considered independent of the mainstream. Over the past 4 years Crash Avenue Publicity has emerged as a committed workhorse representing artists to writers, editors, and new media tastemakers throughout North America. More recently, Crash Avenue Publicity has plunged further into the independent culture giving media relations and branding support to fringe organizations like our current clients Terrastock 7 and the 2008 Forecastle Festival.
Our PR efforts focus on traditional press and new media opportunities targeted by servicing albums, mp3s, mpegs, and press releases to secure features, interviews, reviews, previews, and various other articles centered around the artists album release and/or touring schedule. By servicing influential music publications, daily newspapers, alternative publications, and new media outlets throughout North America, Crash Avenue Publicity ensures the artists campaigns are efficient and effective.
Past clients have received coverage within publications like Paste, National Public Radio, Magnet, The Onion, Spin, Village Voice, Resonance, No Depression, among many others.
Our latest Independent Culture and Lifestyle Media Relations offers our fringe organizations exposure in media and venues that are focused on the interests, attitudes, opinions, and way of life of independent culture. PR targeting the fringe and alternative media along, with other tastemakers within the culture, tactically generates targeted exposure for the organization.
